Wrong. There's a holographic paper on the door saying in no uncertain terms that the place was scheduled for demolition due to lack of interest. It wasn't the only one, there seemed to be quite a few small businesses that were going out of business.

Doc ponders to himself, as if forgetting Marty is still with him, "We may be on the brink of a complete makeover of the town. If business is this bad..." He squints at the paper again. "Great Scott! Look!"
